Introduction to ESG

This session will introduce various ESG concepts and terms, including definition of ESG, sustainability, social impact, materiality, net zero, ESG factors, sustainable investing, sustainable finance, green washing. It will then dive into “environmental” definitions and metrics, “social” definitions and metrics, “governance” definitions and metrics, ESG reporting frameworks. This session will also discuss climate change risk and disclosures and other top ESG issues.

How to Start and Grow Your ESG Program Effectively

The discussions also provide step-by-step instructions for a ESG materiality analysis. Introduction to Green Buildings

This session defines what makes a green building, evolution and future of green buildings. It includes green building terms and concepts, such as integrative process, resilience, systems thinking, sustainable sites, location strategies, alternative transportation, water, material, and waste management, indoor environmental quality, and energy and atmosphere strategies. This session also dives into green building costs and benefits and various green building certifications, including LEED, Green Globes, BREEAM, Living Building Challenge, net zero buildings.

LEED Green Associate Preparation

This one-day workshop includes step-by-step LEED credentialing process, green building terms and concepts, an introduction to LEED Certification, integrative process, location and transportation strategies, sustainable sites, water efficiency, energy and atmosphere, materials and resources, innovation in design with sample questions after each section.

This session then dives into climate mitigation, including greenhouse gas (GHG) emission scopes, and climate adaptation/resilience strategies for buildings, decarbonization for new and existing buildings and net-zero and carbon neutrality pathways in real estate.
